This was the first bag I made where I added prairie points. I love this bag! It sold from my Etsy site and so I must say goodbye. It has been fun looking at this bag. I know it will be loved.

I had a very enjoyable Friday and Saturday attending the Women of Faith Conference in Indianapolis. I was however, anxious to get home and finish making this flower power VW luv bug slouch bag.
I have been noticing that many of the young gals like to carry slouch bags. I thought it would be fun to create these bags that hold everything except the kitchen sink. Not that a teen would want to carry the kitchen sink anyway. I hear they are allergic to things that require cleaning. LOL [...]
Things have finally settled down around here and I finally am in the mood to start a sewing project. (We have a wedding in 21 days for those of you new to my blog). I have had this kit since February and it has been crying out to be made.
I have been making these purses out of Batik fabric. They are fun to make because every purse turns out different. I put 8 pockets inside each bag and one or two pockets on the outside to make a cell phone easier to grab.
