Purple and Green Quilt

I was looking through some old picture albums and ran across this picture. I made this quilt for my daughter in 2006. She liked it because the colors are green and purple and the dog block is a Boston Terrier. My dogs seemed to like it too!

Wedding Shoes

See those shoes? Those are my niece’s and great niece’s shoes. They looked so pretty attending their cousin’s wedding. The wedding was beautiful and fun. I’ll be back with pictures and stories.

Healthy, Happy Dogs

I have spent the last hour cleaning up a mess in our family room. It seems that ants have decided that our wood floors and door molding make mighty tasty meals. I could not figure out why I kept seeing what appeared to be piles of sand along my baseboards and beside my door jams. [...]

Exercise and I Make Friends

I seem to have ended my sewing streak. I was finishing up projects and making purses right and left. I have not turned on my sewing machine for a few weeks now and I miss it. My absence from the sewing machine is for a good cause. My son, Greg, is living here until his [...]

Win a Diamond Necklace

I don’t think you always have to have a special occasion to buy jewelry. I think it is okay to buy jewelry for yourself. There, I said it. Am I self indulgent? Maybe I am but I don’t care. I have several pieces of jewelry that I bought simply because I liked them. One time [...]

All In A Day

My friend’s dream reminded me of a dream I had last night. I think I need to lay off the spicy food before bedtime. Last night I had a dream that someone was searching for their ferret. It had burrowed itself into the hair on my leg. I got the ferret out of my hair [...]

Motorcycle Museum

While my family was visiting, we gals did a bit of sewing. My husband and brother in-law don’t sew. They don’t enjoy checking out fabric stores. I know, it is hard to believe but they are not addicted to fabric. They actually found something interesting to check out. They visited Kersting’s Cycle Center and checked [...]
