Handmade by Decoupage Art

PhotobucketThrough Creative Bloggers, I have the joy of being introduced to creative artists of all types of art. One such artist Yana who lives in Greece. She enjoys making things using the process of decoupage. Her blog, Handmade by Decoupage Art, even has a step by step instruction post to teach us how to decoupage. It has been many years since I have thought about decoupage. I have a plaque of the ten commandments that was made by my sister, Lynne, or The Sewing Mom, as many of you know her. It was made with the decoupage process. Decoupage takes even the plainest piece of art and turns a piece of wood, china or furniture into a thing of beauty. I love the magazine storage boxes Yana makes. Isn’t this beautiful?
