Talented Cake Baker

I love to bake. I refrain from baking because I find that I eat most of everything I bake. It is better for my waistline if I make quilts and purses. I do admire those who bake. There is an art to baking, especially when baking cakes. I have been looking at a newly discovered website called Piece of Cake Decorating. Kim makes beautiful cakes. This cute martini cake is only one example of her talents.

The thing I appreciate about Piece of Cake Decorating is that Kim wants to help us all become better bakers. She has tips and hints to help with all of our baking questions. For instance, she gave three helpful hints on how to bake cakes so that they come out level. I have been searching for the answer to why my cakes always have this big hump in the middle. Now I am excited to try these three techniques and see how well I do.

Check out Kim’s website and see all of her beautiful cakes. And if cake baking doesn’t keep her busy enough, she also makes jewelry! Check out her etsy site at RedSeals.
