TruTV Addict
While surfing channels on television, I am always drawn to the true life dramas. I like watching a person react while his car is towed away. I want to find out how someone plotted a crime and then carried it out. I like to watch the drama unfold as the police piece together clues. This is more than reality it is actuality. People are not going to ever fail to add drama to our world. As long as people are greedy and unsatisfied with their lives, they are going to think they are justified in doing whatever it takes to get what they want. I am not saying it is right but it does make for interesting viewing.
The thing that troubles me about watching these true life dramas is that the people look as if they could be my neighbor! They look ordinary and that sort of freaks me out. How do they get the nerve to actually try these stunts? I am addicted to watching these real stories. Crashes, disasters, car chases, fights and more can be found at truTV. I’m telling you that it is easy to fall into this addiction. Be cautious of the truTV effect – when the stories are real, the effect is actual.
Just how involved are you when it comes to watching true to life tv? Do you scream when someone almost chops an arm off while performing a silly stunt to impress his kid? Do you feel your stomach lurch while watching people eat bugs? I cringe when I watch these types of things! It is one thing to watch something made up. I can tell myself it is fake and it doesn’t bother me. When I watch truTV it stresses me out! (but I like it! LOL) The truTV effect is like watching a train wreck. I don’t want to see it but I cannot look away. Are you like that?

It’s terrible problem to be TV-addict. I prefer not even to turn my TV on. Such method is good medicine for TV-addiction. Try it.
