Statues Outside the Quilt Museum in Paducah

I am back with so many things to tell you about the American Quilter’s Society quilt show I attended last week. If you ever want to be inspired to create beautiful quilts and other items, go to a quilt show. Quilts of every skill level are displayed and the colors, styles and workmanship are amazing.

Executive Inn Riverfront Hotel owner Bhupinder Singh couldn’t stop the attendees from having a great time at this year’s show. From the scuttlebutt that I heard, it seems that this man purchases properties and lets them go to pot. That was certainly true of the Executive Inn. I felt sorry for the vendors who had booths under falling ceiling tile and had to work their booths in sweltering conditions. They had smiles on their faces. That is the magic of working with fabric.

More to come! I have to get my suitcase unpacked.

That sounds like fun! My mom made me a quilt out of my old t-shirts for high school graduation (wow that was a long time ago!) – it was so neat! What a great craft to be able to do!
