Quilters of All Ages

The bus was waiting for us in preparation for our road trip to Chicago. Mom and I arrived on time and were settled in with 45 more women. I was amazed at the various ages of the travelers. We had a couple of teenagers and women who I would guess to be in their eighties. They were not going to let a few aches and pains hold them back from doing what they enjoyed.

There does come a time in our lives when we need residential elderly care. We become forgetful and leave ourselves open to dangerous situations while living alone. That is when it is important to move to an assisted living situation. This does not mean the end of the world! On the contrary, I have heard many say that they were much happier when they moved where they were around other people. They were not afraid any longer. What better place to start a quilt group!

Assisted Living Placements is a service to help families locate the best solutions for their individual needs. They understand the need to find a place for each senior with their well-being in mind.

When the time comes, I hope to utilize their service. I plan to use their experience to my advantage.
