Oh Honey Bun!
There is a new item that is pulling on my fabric budget. I am trying to save for my shopping trip to the Chicago quilt festival. It is not easy when new products like the Honey Bun Roll are introduced.
Have you seen these? They are so cute. Honey Buns are collections of 1.5″ x 44″ strips of fabric. Made by Moda Fabrics, they are available for select collections and are especially helpful for the tiniest cuts in quilting. Honey Buns typically include 40 strips of fabric and are a narrower version of a Jelly Roll.. Just look at these color combinations of honey buns at Clotilde.com. Hold me back!

That is cute. Though I don’t quilt, I can definitely understand how it feels to be saving for something, but constantly be sidetracked by other fun things.

I saw these at the local quilting shop with my wife and she was really excited about them. We had to buy a few and she’s working on a really cute quilt right now. Needless to say, its going to look great.
I’ve seen these before and even though I don’t sew think they are awesome and keep trying to come up with a reason that I need one or two.
