Your Chance to Win a Diamond Necklace
When my husband and I decided to get married, I had no interest in jewelry. I had a birthstone ring that meant a lot to me. My mom and dad let me pick it out my senior year of high school so it was very special to me. Other than that, I didn’t care much about jewelry. That has changed. LOL
I began to notice rings and necklaces that other ladies wore and took note of what drew me in. As far as style, I found that I like big medallions in a necklace if the medallion is plain. Otherwise, I like simple pendants with a small stone. I discovered that my choice of a ring would be one with a wide band. I would love a huge diamond but I can’t imagine that coming before my house payment so that might take a long time to get.
When I am able to afford nice jewelry, I want to know what I am doing. That is why I would rely on the Jewelry Information Center. By going to http://www.jic.org/, I can click on the link for reputable jewelry stores and find reputable jewelry stores in my area. I did just that and saw a couple of my favorite stores! The Jewelry Information Center is a non-profit organization that is full of valuable information and has been involved in many projects that benefit each of us.
I discovered that the Jewelry Information Center has a section of Jewelry Stories where people have told why certain pieces of jewelry represent special occasions in their lives. The stories are so endearing. Do you have a special story that goes along with a piece of your own jewelry?
The Jewelry Information Center is hosting a sweepstakes where by entering your jewelry story, you have a chance to win a diamond necklace!
The Jewelry Information Center is important for those of you who are preparing to buy jewelry. The website has a buyer’s guide to help you choose which metal, stone and what trend is in for the jewelry I pick. Their gift guide can help us choose a gift for a wedding or anniversary gift. They also have a link on how to best care for jewelry. When I get mine, I will want to give it the best care possible. The Jewelry Information Center is full of information for those of us who are dreaming and those of you who are getting ready to buy!

It’s really an excellent idea for buying jewelry. I like beaded jewelry, and gold jewelry.
This is an awesome post- gift guides are generally not what they could be, and you have highlighted a pretty comprehensive jewelry shopping site. kudos.
