Pinks and Blues
Before I had any instruction on how to make a quilt, I took the plunge and made this baby quilt. I didn’t know how to machine or hand quilt so I tied yarn in the corner of each square. The baby I made this for loved it and carried it like a security blanket. It finally became so worn out that it had to be pitched. Horrors! If I’d known it was going to be thrown out I would have made a bear or pillow from it. Oh well.

That is a beautiful blanket and I would have been honored to have someone give my child a blanket a blanket for them being born. I am so sorry that they threw the blanket away. I would have asked if you could fix it and then put it up til they have a child.
What happened to saving baby stuff?
You put all your soul in that blanket,
why they thew this blanket?
But you can make new one, even more beautiful.
