Heads or Tails This Time of Year
This week at Heads or Tails we are to think on the following subject to write about. TAILS – “This Time Of Year”.
With all the doom and gloom being talked about by the media, it would be easy to fall into a depression. I am not going to let them get to me! My kids have the same attitude which you can witness on my post about their newest purchase.
I choose to spend the holiday season looking at the positive side of the slump in our business. I have more time to sew! I made this mini laptop bag for an online friend. I don’t have a mini laptop so I had to take the bag to Best Buy to try it out. The salesmen thought it was pretty cool.

That’s a really awesome bag! You are very talented!

We’ve toned down our shopping this year due to the economic situation. My family set a cap of gift sending which helped a lot. We found we could do just as nicely spending less even.
Homemade gifts are always so nice. That bag is beautiful!!!

Neat bag! I asked a friend to make one for me several years ago and I love it! She had no idea what I meant, so I had to draw pictures, fold fabric, yadda yadda.
Happy Holidays to you and yours!

A more frugal season for many, but I think they may realise more of the Xmas spirit – that it isn’t all about money. At least, i hope so.
