Stolen Quilts, Stolen Hearts
Ok, this makes me nervous. I never gave much thought to the notion that someone would steal a quilt. I am not sure I want to display any of my quilts after reading about all the quilts that have been stolen. I know that at most exhibits there are processes and security measures in place to keep our quilts safe. If someone is intent on stealing one, they will figure out how to do it. My heart would be broken if any of my quilts or quilts of friends and family were ever to come up missing. That is why I am asking all of you to go to this website and look over the listings of stolen quilts. Perhaps you have seen one of these quilts and could assist someone in retrieving their precious quilt.

These are only three of the group of missing quilts. The website gives information and the circumstances of how each disappeared. Each quilt holds special meaning for the victim.
