I had never heard of bobbin guards, so I learned something. I loathe sewing myself although I had to learn to tailor when I was a teenager.

I haven't done any sewing for years but I remember having bobbin tails clustering into a nasty knot and pulling out several other bobbins which fell to the floor and rolled under 'things'.
