Living to Eat

Do you eat more when you are on vacation? When we leave for a trip I tell myself I will eat healthy. I will choose things that are less fattening like salads and brothy type soups. Do I do that? Nope. I eat all the breads I find out and about that I don’t find at home. I use the bread to clean up the bowl of creamy potato soup I ordered.

While on my trip to the Mountain Quiltfest in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, I ate so much that my stretch jeans are not stretching.

This is one of the desserts I had after quilt class.

I might have to put my quilting and purse making aside to have time to exercise. Do you think that will happen?

  1. It won’t happen if you’re like me. Then again, I live to eat. Some people may claim that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. I don’t buy it. The most important one is the one I’m fixing to eat next!
