Well Laid Plans
Most of the projects I planned to get done over the summer didn’t happen. I wanted to stain a bench that we keep out in the yard. At that moment, when I wanted to tackle the project, I didn’t have the stain. By the time I got the stain, I was out of the mood.
Our basement/garage looks like a tornado went through it. I had hoped to drag everything out to the driveway and sort through stuff. We have too much junk! Aren’t garage floors meant to be seen? I think you are supposed to park your car in your garage. At least our floor stays clean because of the boxes sitting all over. My husband would have a fit if our garage floor had oil stains on it. We used to keep a cookie sheet under the car to detect if any spills were eminent.
If we ever get rid of enough stuff, I would like to get some interlocking garage floor tile like I saw at www.carguygarage.com. It would be nice to make a room that the kids could use for entertaining. If it had a nice floor, they could put a pool table down there and invite their friends over.
