A simple thing like using old fashioned street lights can make such a difference. It is extremely important to add a little bit of greenery wherever we can and actions like these are simply brilliant. If everyone had the same attitude the world would be such a nicer place – congratulations. Any photo’s yet?

In Richmond Indiana I think it is very hard to get around because of all the planters in the middle of the street. Their downtown seems to be thriving. I hope our town does better. This landscaping was in an area away from downtown. Our downtown is nothing but taverns.

Ah, they re-did our downtown area. A new city hall was built, new roads, new sidewalks. It was very nice, but half of the businesses went out of business because no one could drive downtown. Did anything like this happen in your town?
