Do It Yourself Help
I ran across a very helpful blog of which I would like to make everyone aware. It is called DIY Focus. We all like to think we can DIY but there are times when we get to a bump in the road and need some help or advice. This blog makes its focus DIY or Do It Yourself. They have gone to great lengths to put together instructions on how to do simple repairs and advice to help people get over those bumps and get onto the next project. The site gives good advice such as how to be prepared for a project, what to expect and how not to delve into projects that are over your head. It looks like a very helpful place to get good ideas and advice. From grouting tile to getting your lawnmower to work, they have something to say about it. If they don’t have what you need, they are asking you to let them know so they can find the information and make their site better. Check it out!
Awesome. I have always admired DIYers, but have always been scared of even the simplest projects. I was unfortunately raised to believe that some people just aren’t “handy.” As I have grown older, I realize that this is not necesarily the case, BUT overcoming my upbringing is difficult.
Great! I’ve always envied people who are so capable of doing tasks themselves. I hope I have the patience and commitment to do that.
