The Holiday
Hubby and I are enjoying the dvd, The Holiday. Very fitting since we have a blanket of snow on our lawn. 
It is such a great movie. Cameron Diaz is great as she portrays a woman wronged. Kate Winslet has been hurt by a beau. Both are being rescued by unsuspecting new friends. The soundtrack is great. I had trouble seeing Jack Black in this role. I think that his character was out of whack with his girlfriend just as his playing this part seemed out of whack. So, maybe he was meant for this part. Does that make sense? Jude Law. Yummy.
It is a great movie. (Not finished yet.) I loved the scenes in London. It is a beautiful place. This movie is a wonderful romantic movie with a predictable ending. It does take some twists to get to the ending. I recommend this movie. Hubby enjoyed it too so don’t let your beau talk you out of it thinking it’s just a chick flick.

Just watched this movie the other night on the recommendation of my 15-year-old, who loved it. It was really cute.
No question this IS a chick flick. But it is a good one. I enjoyed it but if you are a guy you HAVE to watch it with a girl. Or at least not let anyone see you rent it.
