Why This Blog is Important

BSN, a fellow postie, asked some of us why we write the blog we work on. That got me thinking about my reasons for writing this blog.

For one, I needed a place to keep track of what I read. I have read so many books and it irks me to start a book and find out that I’ve already read it. Some books I want to read more than once but only if I choose to.

Secondly, I feel like I can never quit learning. There is always something out there that I’d love to know. I just need to search and find out what it is.

Thirdly, and these are not in order of importance, I relax when I read. I go into the character’s world so I seem to tune out everyday life. A funny book can put me in a good mood or cheer me up. I don’t like to read depressing books.

Fourth, I want to tell everybody when I have read a good book. I can’t keep it to myself and want to share.
